I am asking for a little help. This past weekend I was riding my Legend 500 in northern Wisconsin and I noticed that when I get up to about 30 mph the back end of the sled seemed really loose and would fishtail. I did change the carbides recently and didn't notice this problem before. How can I fix this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

are you sure its not the front darting you may have to much pressure on front ski's. try dropping the limiter strap down a notch or back of the spring a little on your front shocks. thats just what i was told from other members on this site before. and it worked.

Take it for what it's worth, but my guess is that the new carbides are really digging in for ya now. Did you go to a longer, or different in anyway, carbide? Definitely look at the limiter strap as mentioned and lighten up the ski suspension, and it should free it up a little bit and give you a little more "steerability"(that's one-o-dem-der fancy words dontchya know) and less "squirliness" (that's another one).

Take a few minutes and read your owners manual, bigin with setting it up for your weight and then go from there it will explain how to correct most problems with handling issues.

If your already moving its more then likely the carbides holding the skis down and making the rear slide around instead. This is normal without studs or without enough. To correct you could stud to remove or you could lighten ski pressure (drop front of skid by loosening the limiter strap) or free of the front shocks some.

How is your track tension??? Maybe it is a little loose and your sled is slipping around because of this???? Just guessing.???
