hello can anyone help?04 xc 700 we were out this weekend and sled wasnt running right,it is just great below 1/4 to 1/2 throttle very responsive ,if i try and accelerate hard above that it just gets flat, wont take off, have to kind of feather it up ,otherwise below that it runs normally any ideas?thanks

found the problem ,clutch side exhaust valve diaphram had a whole in it

I am having the exact same problem with my 02' 800XCSP. I know I was in need of exhaust valves by next year, so I thought that because I was loosing top end that is why.. I pulled off the cover of the EXHAUST valve and I noticed also the whole in the diaphragm.. I am going to try and get 1 ordered also. Thanks...Keep on sledding!!!!
