It seems that this time of year brings lots of talk about new models and about how the current year sleds faired the season. 2008 brought about lots of changes for Ski Doo with the introduction of the Super lightweight XP chassis. While Polaris hit the value market with the IQ Shift and updated the popular Dragon 700. This year is no different! Polaris has added many more Shift models and introduced a 154 Hp 800 CFI. The New Dragon SP's have an impressive list of standard features set up for the AGGRESSIVE rider. Ski Doo on the other hand is looking to gain some market share in the 4-Stroke segment with the introduction of the 3 cyl. 1200cc Rotax 4-Stroke. With a claimed 130 horsepower and a dry weight of 499# on the T-N-T this should help place them at the top of the 4-stroke market in terms of handling and ride. For the lightweight performance market Ski Doo has really stirred things up with the introduction of the E-Tec 600. Ski Doo is claiming 20 to 25 miles to the gallon. We do have a customer out running this set up and claims a consistant 22mpg. This looks to be a great year...:D
Spring orders have started so feel free to call with any questions that you have. Polaris orders must be placed by April 7 and Ski Doo orders by April 20th.
Sincerely, TrackSide Greg
