02 - edge x 700/xc 700

i have heard that these sleds are basically the same, that the edge has a different and/or better suspension versus the xc. i also heard that the xc and edge have same engines, is this true? i am looking at crankshaft reasons...

yes the engines were identical, the edge x's had some options to them but nothing that effected the engine.
