99 polaris xc 600

i have a xc 600 that the head light goes back and fourth from bright and then dim. then after it warms up it it starts to break up and then dies and looses spark. anyone have any ideas??

the headlight is probaly the headlight switch. i would put a new switch on. not sure about the other part
