PRICE OF DOWN PAYMENT IS 300.00 Down per person. This will be sent directly to Oulu and used to lock down the lodge. The 300 can be used to cover your $50.00 in chow for the week as well. We're looking to get hooked up with some primo Prime Rib, and possibly some Buffalo too.

If the 300.00 is not in by Nov 29th, your name will be off of the list, and lodging will be adjusted accordingly.

From the looks of it, I'll be flying into Idaho Falls, as I have a friend there. If anybody is thinking about taking that route, let me know, as we can go in for a rental vehicle.

Hey big guy what’s the bottom line going to be?? Will the $300.00 cover the cost of the whole weeks housing and food? I have 2 others that are interested but need a bottom line on these costs.

Scott, I'm doing rough math here, and hope that Oulu could chime in as well, lol. The appropriate sized lodge will be selected on the size of the members. This will allow us to get the cost WAY down compared to the rates that we've seen on previous trips. By my math, if we get a place for a week, we'll be around 45.00 a night(Oulu, help me out here, lol). That should pretty much cover the 300 hundo. Not sure on other taxes though. 8% is what I've seen on a lot of the sites. As for food, 50.00 per person should cover plenty of the cost. If you go out to eat, that's your call. The rest of the cost would be your air fair & rentals.

I also looked into a rental vehicle from Idaho Falls. With my AAA card, we can get a Trailblazer sized vehicle for about 350 for the week, or a Tahoe sized one for around 495.95. Split that by the amount of passengers and it should be fairly reasonable as well.

Sarge PM me your email addy I want to get a email distribution list together to make this go a little quicker rather than one at a time.

So for anyone that is going PM me your email address I have a number of them but that was from way back when we did the Cali trip so I don't know if they are all still active.

Sage from what I looked at with the numbers we have that 300 will come very close to covering it. It would only depend on how much food we want to buy or more how many times we will eat in or out.

So if everyone can get me an address I will get a menu together and mail it out to all of you and we can fine tune it from there. I took the number of people we have so far and found a place that had three more beds then we need and figured it from there. If we add two more people it will just get that much less expensive.

So fire me off those addresses and we will round this puppy out and lock it in.

Edit:

BTW: I also want to get an updated link of a place I found out to everyone. This placed look really centrally located to go a number of directions to all the different areas. They included Sawtell Mountain and Mt. Jefferson. I also got some good info from a person i purchased a sled cover from about burned out areas off of one of the trails. So more to come there he might hook me might with folks that know the area even better.

I've been on a feeding frenzy

and still have more weight to lose to get the free trip out of my wife. I'm looking at later in the season also and maybe not quite that far west for my 1st go around.

Oulu or MScott... where was it you guys laid over on your Cali trip a few years ago...Wyoming, I was thinking???
