    Question track noise

I just put a new 136 ice attack track and m10 under my 700 xcsp and from about 20mph to about 70mph the track just screams. Clips running over the hyfax. Does anyone how to quiet it down? rode about 40miles today and my ears are still ringing.

It will be noticably louder, but it shouldn't be loud enough to hurt your ears. The sweet thing about ST is that you can download a Youtube of your problem and post it here. When your track was put back on, did you check your axle alignment? Propper tention on the track?

Probably Too Tight or Too loose you should only have about 1.5" between the rail and the top of the track w/ 20lbs on the center of the track.

track tention was my first thought and then i remember i didnt cut the hyfax short enuff on mine once and made the horable sounds. Jack up the sled and take a peek to see where the noise is comen from. Kinda sounds like your 1/2inch to long.....(name somthing your never gonna hear from your g/f)

agree with the hi fax being too long. happened on my cousins XLT it looked like it was fine but by shaving off a half inch it made a world of a difference. I'd bet that that has something to do with it. If you don't wanna deal with cutting those down, they'll wear down eventually you'll just have some horrible vibrations and noises.
