    Smile slide suspension springs

    I need to know what would be the heaviest springs i could put in our Polaris xlt touring ? My wife and I have gained a few # and now are bottoming out ! we have a 99 xlt 600 and just love it except for the bottoming out ! hope you can help me ! thanks SNOWMAN

    On your slide rails, down by the rear scissors, you may have alternate mounting holes? I can't remember, hopefully someone on here will, or ask your dealer. It's easy and free, and will make a big difference. Good luck.

    I had a 96 XCR special, and I got the heaviest springs I could get. I think they were rated for a 250lb. rider. I'm only 190lbs., but they made a huge difference in the sled. It pushed the rear up like a more modern sled, and never bottomed out anymore unless you did something really wild. They were about $150, but were way worth it. Hope this helps!
