Group Riding in Eagle River

Well as I said from my last report... the time has come for some GOOD TRAIL RIDING. I took a ride with the Sno-Eagles Wednesday and saw some outstanding trails, conditions excellent!!! Starting in E.R. with 20 riders from the club, we took a ride on 10E to 6E going to the White Tail near Florence. We should have called ahead as the lady behind the bar was the cook, and bartender. Some of the ladies in our group help with the lunch orders as they brought them out from the kitchen to help.

It was really a great ride as we took the North route back to Phelps and across N.S. Twin. All in all it was a good club ride as we got back around 4:00 pm.

Weather was good with temps in the mid 20's but this weekend the chill factor comes back with highs in the low single digits and lows below -20. A little warmer by mid week as the temps get back near 20. Plenty of snow as more lake effect fell today.

If you would like to try snowmobiling for the first time and go with a guide on a private tour check the website at www.HaveRodWillTravel.com and go to the Snow Tours Page. Or email to guiding@HaveRodWillTravel.com

Here are a few pics from the Wednesday ride.

I'd like to know too. I may ride up to the Pres run and spend a night near Florence. Any ideas on miles? (Florence/Dunbar to E.R.) Thanks.

Your right Dooed, if your ride in a car I'm sure it's longer than that by sled. I had looked at riding from here at home all the way to Eagle River a few years back, would have been a long days ride, I forgot the milage.
