Even with the warm up the trail are in GOOD condition. There is a 6-7 thick ice base over the frozen ground. We have reached the high for today at 36 & it is cloudy. Low of 14 tonight.

With the temperatures dropping they may go out to flatten the trails so that it all freezes down. That helps to keep the base & it prevents chop. Stay tuned. Trail Boss Tom groomed last night so he isn't up yet.

There is light SNOW in the forecast for today.

Riders from Cascade, Iowa & south Wisconsin rode again yesterday along with some new guests. All said that trails were GOOD.

Catfish Lake Loop & Eagle Lake Trail are flat with very little drifting or frozen slush. Plenty of SNOW. There are ice fisherman so stay wide around them. I hear panfish are biting like crazy! Love those blue gills. If anybody has extras please share!

CLOSE THE OVEN DOOR & OPEN THE FRIDGE DOOR. Start the SNOW DANCE!

You get out there & ride! See ya on the trails soon!
