I never thought I'd see the day - Riding a Ski Doo

Well at least I'll be riding on a Ski-doo track, lol. Had a small emergency the other day as my 3 piece axle decided to grenade on me while riding the XC800. Took out the hyfax, idlers, and other various componants and in turn ripped my RIPSAW track to shreads on the right side. My dealer hooked me up with a barely used & freashly studded track off of a SkI-Doo. Wish me luck as this weekend trail conditions should provide one heck of a test for it, lol.

It could be worse, Howler, at least it didn't come off a cat! You probably would have had to give your sled anti-rejection drugs! LOL

Well, the Doo track lasted for a weekend. I had yet ANOTHER axle failure, and it shreaded the sides. That wasn't the best of it. I yanked the sled on it's side to check it out and ended up tearing half of the stearing post off. Yep, a nice clean seam. Tie that in with a blown out power steering pump on the diesel and a flat-bed ride 4hrs home & it turned out to be one heck of a weekend. I had fun though with the other Snowtrackers. It's just the part of snowmobiling that I've been so lucky to avoid for the past 10 yrs. Age is catching up on the sled.
