The total SNOW for the last SNOW was 3 maybe 3.5 inches in the Eagle River area. Keep in mind east & south got more. West & north the low number. But not much difference. That goes for the whole county. I was at the Vilas County Snowmobile Alliance meeting last night at the Boulder Beer Bar in Boulder Jct. Driving over with the Excursion conditions changed as you drove. I'm not a weather guy but...you go several miles & you might run into a thinner area of snow & then it changes right back to more snow cover. EVERYTHING IS SNOW COVERED EVERYWHERE THAT I SAW FROM THE ROAD.

I'd say a SOLID FAIR

There was lake effect SNOW last night. More lake efect off & on today & through the weekend. Lake Superior is nearly completely frozen over with the exception of an area from Ashland to the east side of the Keewenaw Pennisula. So lake effect is only happening straight south of there.

Cold over night. 5 degrees right now at 9:30am. High today around 10 or 11. Below zero tonight. These temperatures will continue through the weekend.
