Icy trails in Eagle River-Best riding along MI border

No change in Eagle River except it's going to warm up. No more below zero at night & 30's during the day. The icebergs continue here. There is FAIR riding farther north of the County & in the woods.

Lots of ice on both Catfish & Eagle Lake so those trails are safe & the orange barrels are still out. Stay tuned for an update on the barrels as Trail Boss Tom might pull them this coming week. There is going to be high 30's & even 40's. The barrels are attached to black tires which attracts the heat from the sun & can help melting along. Don't want to loose the barrels in the lake.

yup, looks like the season may very well be over. daytime temps for the next week are in the high 30s and 40s. will be nice and comfortable out watching snocross at the derby track this weekend.
