ice out Vilas lakes?

any idea when ice is going out on the smaller Vilas lakes?

Idont know how they are doing this year but not too many years ago. On opening weekend of the fishing season in Wis there was ice on lakes up there. The resorts were PO'D.

Its gonna be awhile before the ice is out in Vilas county lakes. Its not rerally warm enough to do anygood. Still alot of people ice fishing yet.

The northside of many lakes are open. Sun is eating the ice fast in those areas. On the south sides there can be from 12"-30".
