Long time no chat, whats everyone been up to

Seen A few new posts here in the last few weeks. Just wondering what everyone has been up to as far as fun and all that?
Ive been staying busy with going up to the camper in Eagle River, was up there all last week and weather was rather cool but had a few good boating days. Ive been also to about 6 Nascar Camping World Truck Series Races, Im a part time crew guy for SS Green Light Racing the #07 and 08 trucks. Other than that sneaking in a few hours working on the sons 120 sled for this winter. Great Northern Sno-cross has realeased there schedule, no word or nothing from ISOC Racing, maybe there are folding?? I dont know but heard that Warnert Racing and others are done. Not Sure about Hentges Racing (dont think that they would fold) But Levi has started his own team and Kafka will drive for him. Well guys let me know whats up. Later

Well, this whole renting a place to live has really opened my eyes this summer. Man, it's boring not having a yard to tend to or a garden to play in, or just every day maintenance of a home. SO, for us, it's been a summer of camping up on Petenwell Lake on a seasonal site. Lots of time pretending I know how to fish too...LOL... Other than that, I'm VERY happy to say we're both still working every day too!!!!!!

Enjoy the rest of the summer everybody!

Mrs. Dirty Birch hasn't grasped the concept of me being supposedly retired, so I worked at a golf course in April and couple weeks in May. In late May I started working for the WI Dept of Ag in the Gypsy Moth Program putting up small green tent like traps. We are in the Check Phase now and in Sept we'll do Final Count and Take Down. It's just Summer employment, not sure what I will be doing after that until the snow flies. I see tons of wildlife during the course of the day driving the roads of Sawyer County Wisconsin...here's a link to some pictures I took...Moth Trapping Pics

In the process of getting a 28 x 40 garage built here at the cabin. Garage will have a few more sq.ft. to it than the cabin does.

We rented a mini excavator and took 40+ stumps out of the front and back yards, back in May. The neighbor ran it most of the time as I was mostly just wasting fuel when I was behind the controls. I was much better at hauling them to the brush pile.

I have got a little more fishing in this summer but still haven't got a Musky. The best I could muster so far is a 28" Northern. Lots of Large mouth and Small mouth Bass though.

Anxious for bowhunting to start this year. Lots of bear, turkey and deer around the cabin. The only tag I'll have is deer though as the DNR is kind of stingy with bear and turkey tags.

Probably much more about my Summer than anyone really cared to hear...

TGO's still leading the Rockstar lifestyle...has to check with his manager to see what city is next on the tour!!!

According to the radio station I listen to, it sounds like they are having a big pull in Osseo, WI this weekend. Part of the Tri-State Truck & Tractor Pullers.

I try to. It actually at Patossi, forgive the spelling. I usually just follow carmin garmin.

I hope the rockstar lifestyle doesn't come to an end but will probably slow down. My wedding Date 5-8-10.
