I couldn't get the permits for the plutonium-fueled nuclear reactor that would be needed to generate the required 1.21 gigawatts of power for time travel. LOL....

Find the nearest court house with an inoperable closk tower atop it. Buy, or make your own lightning rod. Affix lightning rod to top of clock tower. At 10:04 P.M., lightning will strike clock tower generating the 1.21 gigawatts required to power the flux capacitor.Try affixing a rudimentary hook to the rear of the truck. Attach bare cable from light post to light post. Rig another bare cable from the clock tower to nearest light post.
I suggest 1 guage cable for this.

I got the caps in the mail yesterday. They are much larger than ones I have had in the past. But they should keep voltage on a an even keel to the amps.

The 1.5 will be mounted behind the seat, and the amp it feeds will be under the seat. That is further than I would like, but it would be hitting hard as it is only driving the component speakers in the Q-Forms panel. The 2.2 will be mount about 10" away from its amp. So that should be perfect.

I asked this a couple months ago...no response. Dig your rims and tires..285s? What type of lift do you have, I have an 08 tacoma DC 4*4 like yours and have a 3 inch OME coils and Shock lift in the front with a AAL 1.5 in the back for a 5 leaf pack system. Love it...

In theory your flux capacitor idea is awesome, but remember this is to be a "Tow Vehicle". We all know that the trailer and sleds would NOT follow along. Maybe if Lynn devised a shrink ray machine then he could place the shrunk sleds under the tunau? Something to think about ....

It is a RevTech 3" lift kit.

The tires are Nitto LT285/65R18 Terra Grapplers, and they are mounted on XD Series Addict 18X9 rims. They are a lot taller than stock. But Toyota doesn't matter as the speedo is connected to the wheel speed sensors, and that ring is a fixed diameter. My speedo is off only about 1mph from my GPS at 70mph on the highway.

My cost on the stuff was around $2200.

Not true, if he can get the Toyota up to 88 miles and hour all he!! will break loose. I just wonder if Lynn has any extra parts lying around, I heard the libians are looking for a pinball machine

Now that the boat is down the road, and the RK Tech build is well under way....it is time to start getting serious about the Tacoma.

I got the 1.5m, double layer window tint from Black Box today. They sell them pre-cut and with a Lifetime warranty against fading, or turning purple. I just got the 35%, it matches the rear window level perfectly, and color.

I also got the XM antenna adapter from TSS. I can use the factory roof mounted satelite antenna with an aftermarket unit.

In addition, the carbon fiber interior trim kit came today in the mail.

I am still waiting on my 3/8" Fat-Mat sound deadner for the roof, and the Fat-Mat extreme sound deadener for the rest of the cab. It will have sound deadener on the roof, the back of the cab, the doors, the floor and the firewall.

Here is a close-up. It is real carbon-fiber in a flexible urethane coating. It looks KILLER in real-life.

I got the Fat Mat stuff today.

The Rattle Trap is the thicker of the stuff, I am putting that on the roof. The Fat Mat is the normal thickness, and will be going everywhere else.

I got 25 square feet of the Rattle Trap, and 100 square feet of the Fat Mat. Once I get the RK Tech build done, I will be building the fiberglass sub box for behind the seat, and pulling the entire interior including the roof liner. I will be applying the Fat Max stuff, then I can start the wiring.

I will probably take a day or two off work to make sure I have enough to get it all done without having the vehicle down for too long.
