pistons?

anyone know how to install pistons in a 03 polaris 500? does the arrow on the piston go toward the outside of the engine or point to each other. theres no other way they can go

If your pistons are genuine Polaris the arrow would point to the flywheel or recoil side of engine for both cylinders.

If your pistons are WISECO (or any other aftermarket piston that I have seen) the arrow will point to the exhaust side of the engine for both cylinders.

thanks DRH specialty, you are right on the money, i finally went to a differant dealer and they were willing to help me out. the arrows do go towards the flywheel side. they are polaris pistons. thanks buddy............
