    Floor Protection from Studs

I'm looking for rubber matting for my garage floor. I'm currently using a rubber truck bed liner that seems to be plenty durable for my studded track, but I would like something longer. I would be placing the matting on my garage floor leading to my trailers ramp. I could use two rubber truck bed mats, but I would prefer a one piece mat that I could just roll up when not using. 15' to 20' in length would be nice. I have seen the coin pattern rubber trailer/garage floor matting, but was told that it wouldn't be durable enough for for the studs. Do you have any suggestions? If so, please let me know. Thanks in advance, Ray

I use the "skates" when they are in my garage, helps with carbide marks from the skiis, and makes for easy moving when spinning them around etc.

I don't plow or shovel my driveway to the pavement in the winter, so loading and unloading isn't that much of a concern, all that happens outside the garage.

Now, I don't live in a development, maybe that is your concern there, is they don't let you ride around the yard, even once or twice, which would really suck.

    Hi,
Picked up a 4 x 8' x 3/8 inch rubber truck bed mat at TSC. This mat is made by Dee Zee which "is not" cut out for wheel wells, but can be cut to your liking. This mat also has Nycord which makes it that much stronger. Time will tell as far as durability, but it looks and feels like it will take abuse and do the job. Thank to all of you for your input, Ray

I had a bed mat in my truck hated it for moving stuff on. I cut it up for my stud protector on my trailer. Work great. Should work real well for you.

I use the truck bed mats through my 24' trailer and on both ramps.

Use finishing washers with drywall screws to fasten them.

    Just one down the middle

Been on there for four years and haven't touched them.

try going to a farm supply store and get cow matting. Basically like bed mat but alittle thicker and not bad priced. I put it down on trailer and has worked very good.
