It looks like my old ISP finally removed my web storage space. I haven't been a customer for over 2 years now. In case any of the faithful have the President's Ride Web Page bookmarked the url has changed as of this morning. You can use the updated link in my signature or make a new bookmark with this URL:

I plan to do a make-over of the page shortly after this years ride. If you have pictures you'd like to link to the page from any year of the ride or humorous stories you'd like to write and display on the new page let me know. Remember I have total editorial control so the "Leaving the truck running while sledding in the U.P." story from a few years back will not be on the page!!!

I have a video that is about 6 hrs long of a truck running from the ride.. can I add that???

Perry stopped by the other day and we were talking meals for that weekend... is everyone up for how we did it last year? BBQ? breakfast at the hotel?
Do we want to do it that way or like previous years where we went out?

Yep, but Paul and I beat everyone out of the pits on the race back to the Hiawatha. The truck was "so warm and toasty" when we jumped in after loading! We just about had to make an emergency pit stop for fuel after idling for 6 hours!

Makes no diff to me on how the meals are figured out! I didn't get this size by missing any, that's for sure!

What ever is easiest. Do make a big fuss about the meals if we can get them done somewhere.

I finally did it. I talked She-La into going this year. She will be on her first snowmobile trip.

I'm feeling that time ticking down, and realizing that my opportunity is slipping away. . . .

I don't believe I'll be able to join in this time. Will be counting on some pictures and trip reports, to ease the pain.

Last year was our first, but we sure enjoyed it having the BBQ there and then going out for a meal. We're still on the fence about getting up there. We close on our new house in the morning, then a solid 3 days of painting before moving in on Saturday. If all goes silky smooth, it's still possible we could make it. SO, IF YOU'RE FEELING A LITTLE SPRY, COME ON DOWN AND HELP US PAINT AND MOVE..........DON'T WORRY, I WON'T WAIT UP FOR ANYONE...LOL....I hate painting!!!
