    Post ER Invasion

We went up on Wednesday. Got a few miles in, that afternoon.
Met Missouri Rich, and one of his riding partners, Henry.
Thursday was a beautiful day. Good to very good trails. A few sections of snirt. The afternoon brought a few slushy areas, and water puddles.
We like stopping in at the Snowmobile Hall of Fame. This time was more interesting than before. The new building had been up for 2 years, but the "BIG" surprise, to us anyway, came in the old building. A "Rear Drive Prototype" on a Ski Doo 800 . For more info, go to
www.rndinnovators.com. You'd have to see it to appreciate it.
Anyway, Missouri Rich is not your average snowmobiler. His trek to the northwoods is a 700 mile trip from, where else, Missouri.
After researching ER for places to stay, he chose the "Hiawatha Motor Inn". He could, probably, be a tour guide for the area as he knows the trails, and good eating establishments about as well as anyone in the area. And this from only 3 winters worth of visiting.
The list of people that I have the privilidge of referring to as friends is not as extensive as most, as I am somewhat particular, but I'd be hard pressed not to include Missouri Rich.

Ah thats where you went Al. My brother in law and I stayed by you guys at the Hiawatha on Thursday night. Trails were good Thursday morn and into afternoon but warm and sun took a huge toll on them. Friday morn was decent but by afternoon they were gone in town and in many spots. Three Lakes- Sugar Camp is real good as of today late afternoon. Conover is ok. But Eagle River trails are pretty much gone. I stayed at the Hiawatha Thursday night for the first time Friday we were off to camp because we had others coming for the weekend and didn't want to wait for heat inside camp to warm up and really enjoyed it and is a very nice place. Yeah we probaly were the loud ones in room 5 sorry if woke anyone up but my brother in law is loud. Some good riding yet but maybe some big storm soon.

Just glad we were able to see you, both, before you had to leave.
No hard feelings here. I just felt bad that the tow chain was forgotten.
