I use klotz techniplate in my VES machines and either polaris blue or sea and snow in my non valved machine.

The ves machine need very little to no cleaning of the ves blades.

I buy the klotz for $26 per gallon and S&S for $19. They both perfom well, very little smoke. I even use klotz in all of my chainsaws and leaf blowers.

Hey federal68....Fleet farm in Lakeville has gallons of Citgo S&S on the shelves again @ $11.95 each, so even though it's raining and looks like we're done sleddin' you can always stock up for next year!

I did enough miles last week before melt down (snow melt down, not motor) to run almost full gallon Citgo S&S thru the SwitchBack!

    Smelt OK to me...LOL

    Oil

Mark, if you like the polaris gold oil...check with a shop thats close to see if you can get refilled......

The shop up here refilles the 2.5 gal. oil cans for about 35$ a gal. most of the time they only charge me for 2......something to look into. Because my sled burns lots of oil....I guess it comes with the territory

I don't think they do but it's worth a try. I would have thought they would have mentioned it when I was whining to them about oil prices a month ago if they sold it that way?

Season appears to be done here. How's things in Breckenridge???
