i hope some one might be able to tell me where to look i was out riding today and the throttle stuck and i couldnt get it to go finally it took of again but on 1 cylinder back to where we left the truck and trailer, not sure if this will make a difference but its a 2up and riding double plus my 4 yr old normally never that much weight a first. we had to get of the sled to make it up the hills . any one have an idea where to start to look . thanks

Could be a couple things,

TORS - Free easy fix.

Dirty/Plugged Carbs - May have damaged the motor if it ran to long.

Poor/ Missing spark - bad plug, wire, coil, etc...

Bad cylinder(s), rings, piston etc...


Does the sled seem to idle on all three cylinders correctly? If so and it will not rev up i would bypass the TORS system and see if you get going properly if so you will need to adjust the spacing on the throttle to meet spec and then hook the TORS system back up.

If it doesn't idle correctly you will want to check the plugs and see what they look like, wet or dry, if wet are you getting spark. If dry check the carbs.

That should get you started, hopefully its the TORS system as its a quick easy fix and won't damage the sled.

Primary clutch spring. sound weird i know but I fixed a friends sled that had a similar problem when the clutch spring came out in 3 pieces.
