    Ski-Doo XPs

Hi guys. I'm thinking about getting a new Doo. Has anyone rode one? I want something that corners on rails, with no push an/or darting. Are these sleds pretty good right out of the box? Are the stock skis fine? Do they really bend up the "S moduel" or Nun easily? Any must have bracing i should get?
Thanks for any input, i'm getting older and "out of the loop" so i'm not 16 anymore and no longer know everything, lol. Thanks again, Mike.
P.S. Trackside Greg, i'm the one that wrote you on the 550 TNT.

The New XP's are great sleds. Nice light feel and both the 600CC and 800CC Etech's are fastest in thier respective classes. They corner better than anything else except the AC 500CC. The new Polarises are nice too but they do not have motors to match BRP. Yamaha's are great if your thinking of a piano and have a couple men and a boy to help move it. AC's have bold new graphics this year. The BRP is my sled of choice for racing up the hill climbs.

I have had my xp for a few years now, man I love that sled. Handeling is amazing, power is great and best of all I don't have to get off and stretch every fifteen minutes or so. I could not be happier with it. I traded in a 05 500ss for the 08 600 HO SDI. You could not get me on a rev platform sled anymore. Hope this helps.

Wow, that's a big statement. That's good to hear. I didn't think there would be that much difference.
I told myself i wasn't going to buy a new sled, then it got cold
I'm still unsure if i'll buy this season, and another big part is i'd have to sell my Phazer and with their bad internet rep, that may not happen? If it does go, it will be a left over 2010 GSX 550 Fan (for $5799.00)

The difference between the XP and Rev chassis is about as big as the difference was at the time between the Rev and ZX chassis.

I've got the 4 stroke XR model and it's a fantastic sled.

I love my 4 stroke, it's the rest of it that's sub par. I'd really like a GSX1200, handling, ride, and the 4 stroke, and Lakewood Yamaha/Doo still has a white 2010! Sweet! Another reason not to buy this year for me, if i wait, next year i may be able to swing the big 4 stroke?
It's just the time of year i guess? I always get like this. I'd bet i'm not alone, lol.
I just want my next sled to be good and last a long time. That's why i was thinking a 550 Fan, bullet proof, and easy to work on myself. The 1200, i know i couldn't work on the motor part, but with that said, with a 4 stroke you shouldn't have to. Expensive though.

Spike have you considered an ETEC at all? We got the ETEC 600 on an XR chassis, (grand touring), but wow, what a nice riding, handling sled. The fuel economy is awesome, no smoke, huge power, low oil use...etc. Just a thought.

If i spend that much money, i'll get a 4 stroke. I know the E-Tech is a fine machine and all, next week i'll change my mind and it'll probably be an e- tec.lol
I actually came on here to answer a guy who pm-ed me, if i still have my sled for sale. As of this second, i don't know what to tell him! That's sad. Thinking i should probably wait untill i'm more sure. Like i said, i want my next one to be around a while, (like the cheap, simple fan, or the 4 stroke.)
