We asked the Cops if they where ready for this, They said NO way.. Was like Woodstock!!!
I have some pics ,But had camra problems.. I will put some up when I get it working....

Need more roads and gates to get in... SNO-Barrons missed the boat..They my never get another permit.

Also made the Friday night THUNDERSTRUCK view.. Party on.....

It's amazing that they would miss it that badly knowing how many people show up. How was that camp ground Pit? We were thinking that we might just stay up there next year to, do you know if you can make it out of those grounds and onto any of the dirt roads leading in by four wheeler? I could see coming in that a lot of the locals were driving around with wheelers or UTV's.

no problem was just thinking about next year now that we've been there. Yeah sorry I missed you too, I was watching the little one so much so he didn't run over in his wagon I might walked by you! It was an interesting day there with Kristin and both boys along, she told me not to worry about next year now that she has that crossed of her list. ha ha I think it was too much craziness for her.

My wife and I got within 6 miles or so of the Show. Were just getting on Co Rd 14 somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but were unfortunately on gas vapors in the car, and found that there was nothing between where we were and the site, and had to abort. We had been in bumper-to-bumper for about 20 minutes at this point, and had moved maybe 200 yds.

As we were on our way back to the last gas station, we heard on the radio that all of the parking was full, so even if we would have stuck it out, might not have had a place to park if/when we did arrive. I was very disappointed, had been looking forward to seeing the new site and all. If I would have fad a full tank of gas we might still have hung on to see, but given our situation, I guess I'm OK with the choice we made.

Except for the fact that we ended up at the bar, sitting outside enjoying several cold ones. And I got sunburned BAD.

I hope that maybe this year was a learning experience, and the SnoBarons will be able to improve access/parking for future events.

    Unbelievable

It took me 6 hrs. to get from my home to Woodbury (404 miles) where i stayed. Saturday morning left at 7:30 a.m. from hotel (47 miles from Hay Days) 6 hours later we made it. I guess they did miss it (traffic control). Don't know if i will ever go back!! The organizers shuld be punished some how for making it so misserable for alot of people. GO GO snow Barons or should i say GO GO Snow Bunnies!!! LOL

xcjohn feel your pain man. My wife and I went for first time ever. Wanted to see the swap area for deals and parts for the vintage sleds. Should be a rule about parts way to much junk and non sled related stuff. And if you did buy something and got a number it was 2 hours before it could be hauled out. Plus the parking 2 miles away and the traffic. Stayed about 50 mins away and it took 4.5 hours to get in. A nightmare of a show and I wont be back ever. Haydays should be called Helldays. Not for me again!!!

Ok, I guess I will brag a little, since Im so good at it. A buddy an I left home at 5 am an got to haydays around 1ish. Had maybe a mile of 10 mph traffic, spun a u-turn, parked along the highway, walked bout 200 yards n got right in. Shopped around, bought a t shirt and a sticker, watched the races for a bit and drove home. Had a good time and will continue to go.
I think alot of the problems were because most thought they had to be there at 6 am. Sorry to those that didnt have a good time!

    Thumbs up

I tried to get there about 10:00 on Saturday. Wish I could have experienced it inside the fences...but decided to give up after a lot of wasted time, gas and frustration. What a cluster.

I have done it for quite a few years now but even if they figure out a way to fix it I doubt I ever return.

I live just about 15 minutes from haydays and found you need to get off the main roads to keep moving I parked about 1/4 mile from the gate in a yard for $10 and was in and walking around in short order to those vowing to never return this was the first year and they will be working out out some of the bugs, also keep in mind from the sno-barons we talked to they estimated they would have 25-3- thousand in attendance the first day and they had sold over 50 thousand wristbands at about 2pm.

It will be better next year
