need some help !!

Can anyone give me some help ? I have a 02 MXZ 800 that has a ignition problem. I usally am the one with the advise on helping everyone else. Now I cant figure mine out. is anyone of you people out there a ski-doo tech by trade or have good knowledge on this year of sled and ignition system diagnostics ? if you are PLEASE send me a PM I would apprecieate it !

last season my sled acted up twice. The first time was up in the U.P. I tried to start it after sitting about 1/2 hr. No spark, all of a sudden it came back and worked about 3 more times out. The second came while I was out on a local lake with a friend of mine. we were doing a bunch of testing on clutch set-ups that day. I shut the sled off for about ten minnutes. It has not started since. No Spark.

FYI, I am a Certified auto Mechanic for over 20 yrs. I do know how to work on this stuff. But I m not famillier with these sleds ignition systems too well.

So I did some testing on the sled, and pretty much decided it was a bad Stator. I did some looking and found a company that builds stators and all ignition parts. Thats fine , so I bought a new stator, new ign. coil, and pick-ups for the stator. I installed them. No Spark still ! I did some more testing, and now it seems there is no (+) to trigger the ign coil. To me it seems like bad MPEM. Is there any known way to test them ? or is there a good procedure to test them that you might know of ? the OE # is 512-059-412 do you know of a place that has good deals on DPEM's ? Thanks !
