RE: Official Opening--Oneida County Snowmobile Trail System
The Oneida County Funded Snowmobile Trail System (as administered by the Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Outdoor Recreation Department) will officially open for the 2010-2011 winter season as of NOON on Friday, December 17, 2010.
As always, the Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Outdoor Recreation Department recommends staying on clearly marked trails. Always exercise caution when riding a snowmobile. Remember to obey all signs and regulations.
For more detailed information on Oneida County Snowmobile trail riding opportunities, contact the local snowmobile club in the area that you would like to ride, the Oneida County Chamber of Commerce, or the Oneida County Forestry, Land, & Outdoor Recreation Department.

Will be checking these trails out the next two weeks. Bring on some more snow please!! WE RIDE!!!
Bearskin is gravel in the middle. Trail 12 bare.. Trail #7 someone drove a truck down it.. Grind those carbides...Pic #1 trail 12 #2bearskin #3 gravel down the center of gravel skin #4 Trail 12 by trail 7 . Need more packing snow to get to FAIR !!!!
Thanks for the report. snow looks like it sux, we are heading up next weekend hoping its better. Doesnt look like it, but we got our fingers crossed
