This weekends snow was perfect timing for yesterdays ride, which amounted to about 8 inches in total. Taking another family out for their first snowmobile ride; Bryan, Janet, and their children; Wes and Ali had a great first ride experience. Taking out famous trail ride from Eagle River to the U.P. they all did a great job... Wes (11) really... really enjoyed it and I know he will be a future sledhead.
Coming up from Illinois this Family rented their sleds from the Toy Shop with two brand new Arctic Cat (2-ups) 570 fan. In fact they were so new they had the first tank of break in gas, sleds performed great. Trails were in very good shape and the afternoon temps warmed to about 30 degrees. This will be good to soften the snow and groom them to harden up with the lower temps coming, making a good base.
Here are a few photos from December 22nd, next guide outing after X-MAS.
