Angry can't get clutch off !

Hello, Having trouble getting the DRIVEN clutch off a 1997 ski doo formula z . Took the belt off removed the bolt, washers and spacer but the thing won't pop off . The manuals all say remove bolt and pull off, no mention off any kind of puller . thank you John,

    clutch

John, You need a clutch puller, all sleds need one to remove clutch. they are around $25-35. that book you have is not doing you any favors if they dont mention the puller . And then to jump ahead a bit when you reinstall the clutch. It is recommended to use NEW bolt. and Use proper torque to tighten it down . Just tight is not good !

I got it off, lots of penetrating oil and a BFH did the job . Just had rust on the shaft .

Hope it was the secondary clutch and not the primary. Hammer is bad on bearings internally. Remember no oil or grease on it when you reinstall it will fly off syntrifically on your belt and you wont like the outcome.Light and i mean light grease on secondary is ok but very very light coat at install only.Primary only gets valve seat clean off with break clean torque to spec.

Yes it was the secondary clutch not the primary , PB blaster and the rubber mallet finally got it off . I cleaned up the jack shaft with super fine sand paper and it looks good to go . Thanks , John.
