    tight steering

I've got a 99 polaris indy 500 with some tight steering. There is no damage to the front every thing is aligned that i can see. If it sits outside its almost imposible to steer but once I put it in the heated garage its turns but with a lot of resistance. could it be mosture in the grease or something else

I had the same issue, there is a bushing under the hood down by exhaust that never gets grease. you can take the steering shaft out and clean it up, If I remember correct. it was not a fun job, but that is where I would look

I think it is the only one for that, mine was real tight I had to pull it apart and clean with a wire brush, but if it took grease maybe it will loosen up for you

well that didn't work I see someone else is having a similar issue, looks like we'll have to tear into the front end and do a througho cleaning
