    Iron River / Washburn Fire Roads

    Given the damage done to the trails by the warm weather I am thinking about trying the fire roads between Iron River and Washburn this weekend. Any suggestions on where I could park my SUV and trailer and not have miles of bare road between it and the fire roads?

    riding around IR

    I would hold off riding here til more snow. Everything is hard ice packed. Otherwise you might be able to park at TriLakeTimbers 3 miles east of IR and I mile north on E Long Lake rd. Darrell has a trail that goes out back of his place, stop in and say hi to him. Very nice guy.
