I got tired of poking my hands on the previous owner's jury-rigged trailer ramp.

So...instead of modifying that old POS, I learned from my past mistakes....I am making a new one from scratch.

The tail piece will be on a hinge type system and fold back over the main portion of the ramp. My entire driveway is concrete so in order to keep from having to get a running start and launch into the trailer. A bad combination with a 54" roof line. LOL

Here is the old POS ramp. It is made from 1/4" aluminum angle and square tubing. The rest is 3/4" plywood. When it gets wet, (even dry) it weighs a ton and is very awkward when trying to move, especially with the screws sticking out the bottom of the wood.

Here is the layout of the new ramp. I do need to make the swivel for the base unit and get another set of plastic runners.

Here are the flap I have. They are hinged and drop over the edge of the deck to prevent tearing the corners up:

Thanks, but I am more the Blaster, than the masterr past...LOL

Sorry, a little Thunder Dome humor.

I got almost all of the decals on but the temp dropped and the wind is blowing about 40-50mph here so I couldn't finish them.

I got the rest of my decals from Howler. I got the manufacturer of snowmobiles, shock manufacturers and my pricing put on the trailer.

I got the ramp TIG'd and MIG'd. It is done up and almost ready to roll.

All I have left to do is rivet the runners in place and put the chain links on.

    Here is the main ramp:

Here is the runway leading to the ramp:

Here is the unit as it lays out:

Here is how the runners layout on the ramp:
