    Chaincase

After putting the sled all back together i desided to rev it up a bit and make sure ebverything worked.. It all worked very well untill the old chain that had some hard spots in it desides to go boom.. blew out the entire botom end of my chaincase & cover.

SOOOO if any one has one know where to get one has the number to a snowmobile junk yard. I would love to have it. the number on the inside of ther case is 5630412-01 its is off a 1994 polaris classic touring. with reverse.

if i have to i have seen the same case but not for reverse on ebay. thanks to every one that looks arround for me.

do you have any thoughts on just making it a forward machine.. take out the reverse???. would be alot cheaper in the long end. I forgot to mention i would need a chain too. If you can keep it in mind.
i probly wont buy any more parts untill november. I have a few things that are infront of the sled right now.

thank you for looking. please let me know if somthing comes together.

If you are replacing the case anyway, don't care about reverst that much on that older sled, and can find one without reverse, go for it. Not any different, except less gears to deal with.

Yes you can put a std chaincase in place of reverse. The only difference was the cover and guts.

I'll look see what I have in the next few days.
