Was surprised how good the trails were on Saturday in Mercer. I expected lots of ice after that long warm up, but trails were in good condition. There was tons of sleds up there so bumpy trails are to be expected, but didn’t ruin the fun. Groomers were out Saturday night, and grooming again Sunday morning. Went from Mercer up to Hurley on the back trails. Took the grade back to Mercer. I would expect this weekend the trails will be as good or better as they are predicted to get snow out of these systems Wednesday thru the weekend. Stayed at a rental cabin right on trail 10.
