Share yor summer hobbies...whadaya doin' this summer to keep busy??

We camp, and ride the bike when weather permits. have a trip planned this weekend. Well, not really a trip..the camper sits on a seasonal site not far from home, and we'll probably ride the bike a couple days to who knows where..

Just got the boat out and starting to work on rebuiling my sleds. Will sell Beth's TNT and look to find her a new ride. Lots to do go to work and lawn work is all that I have time for. Some day I may start to go fishing like I did before I got married. It seems you never have enough time to get it all done.. Is winter getting close .... I need to RIDE!!!!!

    Summer time activities

I golf in a league with my wife over the summer. It's fun and low pressure, we play friday nights, so it's a nice way to end the week.

I'm still working on renovating the attic level of our house, that has been an ongoing project, that I seem to struggle to find time to get to after spending all day at the office. We have hired out little parts of the work, but are doing most of it ourselves to save money.

The usual wrenching on the various vehicles we own, all are old and in need of repairs, that ends up feeling like a constant battle, but I do enjoy fixing things and saving money where I can.

I usually get up to the racetrack in Brainerd MN for a weekend or two of corner working. Most of the time I work for the regional Porsche club. Get to play with flags and a radio, LOL!!
And see cars such as this up close and at speed!

We host a yearly gathering at our house that coincides with one of the local town festivals, and get to bust out some new recipes or things to grill, along with large amounts of cold beverages. Actually, the last couple years we haven't even made it over to the festival to watch softball or the carnival rides, we end up tipsy in our yard. Good times!

Sometimes we aill get top the local short track stock car races. Car Craft magazine holds their summer gathering at the MN State Fairgrounds, I usually go to that to see some nice muscle cars and stuff. Occasional trips to the lake for a little fishing with my wife's family. Always seem to be busy.

Adding HID headlights to all the sleds.

Building a new mountain bike. I got 2010 GT Sanction frame and starting from there. All the stuff is on order, just waiting for the stuff to come in to put it together.

The frame came with a FOX DHX Air shock. I really didn't want an air shock. I wanted an oil filled shock with a spring in case it blows out.

    It will do for now.

I will be doing a build on it in the build section.

    Can't WAIT!!!!!
