    Wi Dnr... Wtf?

Anyone else waiting for a WI registration sticker?... sent in my form and my check around the first of Dec. I knew it was received because the deposited my check so I assumed my sticker would follow shortly. Called today to confirm that scenario. No such luck. The woman told me some story about processing 500,000 deer tags or something like that which wouldnt be done til Jan 21st. Then and only then would they begin to process sled registrations! WTF is that?!! Im no hunter but isnt deer season long over? Woman said 6-8 weeks... a good chucnk of the season will be over by then. Never registered in WI before, do they always fubar the paperwork like this?

    Understand your gripe.
Suggest you keep any, and all paperwork to prove you've paid.
With all that, you can ride legally.
    We're still waiting.
That's what we were told to do.
    Best of luck.

I did mine online and had the stickers 3 days later. You DO have to pay a fee for using a CC, but you get the stickys....

Make sure your paperwork is stamped paid by the dnr, if it's not, take it to a dnr office and get a validation stamp. I'm goin through the same deal right now with 1 of my sleds. In the future u can bet I'll be having all that jazz dun well n advance!

I sent my wife's reg in on November 19th. The check cleared the bank fairly quickly, November 28th to be exact. I still have no stickers and we leave Saturday. Last year mine came in less than 2 weeks. I'm bringing copies of my IL Registration, WI Application, the cancelled check and bank statement when it clear.

Best as I can tell, you can only re-new an existing registration on line, not apply for a new registration. If someone has a link to do new registrations please post it. I'm sure it would be helpful to many on this site. I see where you can purchase your Non Resident Trail Pass online but not an actual WI Registration. You cannot print out the trail Pass, you have to wait for it as they mail it back to you.
