My wifes entire family owns and ride ORV's and I have borrowed machines to ride with them from time to time.
I still feel the damage done to the trails that the ORV's are allowed on in the UP, is why monies from the ORV Stickers should be put into the trail fund.
Also the state is hurting so bad for $ put a registation on the ORV's as well. There is way more ORV's then sleds. Why should the sleds have to pay for everything.

I get a renewal form in the mail every fall and buy them via the mail. They have been on my sled for quite a while now.

if they need money so bad they can start by stop buying brand new 4x4 pickup for the dnr to drive around in. they don't need the biggest pickup made or a brand new one every year!

    Very True,

and good point regarding the Registration, I think the problem lies in the titling as some quads did not come with Titles in the earlier days, although some old sleds may not have now that i think about it.

I bought my sticker today and it was $25. i told the owner about the chance of a increase and he said that last year it was only $20, I could swear it was $25 last year but I'm not so sure now. The damn state has me payinig it just to ride trails that my registration already puts monies into.
As for the trucks they drive that must be a down state thing because the DNR up here in my area is still driving a 98 Dodge pickup and not fully loaded. As I said Jenny must be taking care of down state DNR.

If they put a date that you can buy early and save money they better let us buy them from a web site or sell them in Illinois at dealers. Its not fair that you have to travel to Mich between Christman and New Years to even have a opportunity to buy one.
