1995 Polaris RXL

i have a 92 500 EFI and it will bog down after about 40 miles of riding then doesnt go anywhere...does anyone know what could be wrong??

Could be lots of things . Fuel pressure , clutch wear , bad fuel filter , TPS could be going out , plugs could be bad and a number of other things . Guess I really couldn't say what is causing your problem . Any codes coming up on the computer ? If so use the codes I put up above to tell you what the code is . Hey check your battery could be causing a problem if it is below 12 volts sled won't run right .

where is the computer on these sled i dont that much about them?

Should be mount on top of the air box . Should say EFI on it . Then look at were the main wire harness plugs into it and you will see a small round circle right in front of that . That is where it blinks out the codes . Make sure you have the key on and the kill switch pulled up like you were going to start it . If nothing flashes that way start it for a few minutes and let it idle and shut it down and then if it is something with the computer it will blink the code .

it didnt blink at all but i put the batterie on he charge adn it only had 8 volts so im going to put it on the charger and see if that works

That is if the battery is any good . Would just get a new one . Get one for a sportsman 700 4 wheeler . Just trust me it is the right battery . The one you get for the sled will be wrong because they dropped the output amps . Cost me over 150 dollars to get the right battery .

hi, i have a rxl 650 with efi that won't start. the code is 1 long and one short.
