    How's this thing work

I have never posted before so this is all new to me. I spent all last season reading the forum, after reading Howlers message I thought I may as well give it a try. I ride a 900 RMK and my son is 15 and rides a 700 RMK. We ride Hinkey Summit here in Nevada and Tahoe. I will try to take some pictures this season and post them. Nevada mountain peaks were covered with snow this morning. Not much but it's a start, pray for more.

Don't forget to read the FAQ!

Not bad for a first post!

Check out the FAQ, there's a lot of good info there on how to use the New Forums.

Did you know you could add photo's to your post by clicking on the paper clip image? It will even resize your images! So no more errors, like the old Forum had.

Welcome aboard to you and your son. It's nice to see another Tracker from the western part of the U.S. . We've been kickin' around the possibilities of hitting that part of the states for a ride. By all means, if ya have some pics, post them. I can't get enough of the mountain shots, lol.

Let me know if you decide to make the trip this way. We have a family cabin on the back side of Hinkey Summit. Last year there were more rocks than snow so we never made it up but had some good rides at Tahoe. The year before last I would pick my son up after school on Friday and we would ride into the cabin and make it by dark if we did'nt play too much on the way in.
If the snow is not good here our Tahoe house is on South Shore about 15 miles from our riding spot. So if you make the trip we can hook you up with a place to stay.
My son watched Season 2 last year and his comment was "I want to ride with those guys"

We've got a few other trackers out there that have a place around the Ogden area. Not sure how close that is from where you are at. I've been invited by Phatty from the Boondockers crew to guide us should we ever make it out there. Guess a bag or WI cheese goes a long way around there, lol. Hopefully, we'll get a destination laid out soon so that those who are able can make the trip.

As for "Wanting to ride with Team Summit, that's the exact first thing I said when Jlowe sent me the first VHS tape way back in the day, lol. They are an awesome group of people and really have a good thing going. The area that they ride is breathtaking, and really gives you a good understanding of just where one sits in the scheme of life. I'll never forget those times.

Yes, the thing I like about the Team Summit videos is they all seem to be pretty normal guys riding the same stuff we ride. Except for the cliff jumps, my kid may try it but I'll leave that stuff for Dan.
