When I loaded my '95 Formula Z on the trailer last Friday I noticed the center idler wheel on the back shaft had no bearing left in it. Doesn't look to be too hard to change. Loosen track, remove outside bolts, replace junk parts with new, bolt back together and reset tension......... whoa!!!!!
What is the best way to set the tension on a track? I read in the manual about using a spring-type scale and measuring the scale at a certain distance....blah, blah, blah! Is there an easier way? I have some mechanical knowledge, but I am just starting to work on sleds. Advice welcome!
