Anyone ever have a problem with a rope not wanting to recoil after sled is fully warmed and been running a while?I have a 2001 mxz 800 and I have to pull and feed the rope back in slowly, but only after motor has been hot for some time.

sounds like you have a spring freezin up in the recoil..but i have never worked on a ski do so not exactly sure how the recoil is set up.. but to me i would take apart and check springs

Sounds like you took it apart and put the wrong grease in it. Therefore causing it to stick when the sled is warm. Take it off and clean the back side of the red part and front side of the white. Before that go and get a new star clip from the parts store or dealer.
