Just wondering how bad of a hit the trails took up in the Cable, Namakogon area. There are 14 of us going up superbowl sunday for the week and just wondering how much snow they received on Tuesday. They say fair conditions 5 inches of snow. We are from Iowa and fair to the wisconsins might be good to us. Do we need to worry about hy-fax wear. The Lakewoods cam makes it look like they might of got 3-4 inches. Hope to hear from a true trail reporter.

Trails in Eagle River are smooth, very little ice in corners, decent snow coverage and right now cooold..LOL

Virgin Timbers reports are usually right on the money. They are on Moose Lake about 15 miles south of Namakagon. XCR440 may chime in here. He's living in the area this winter. http://www.snowtracks.com/wisconsin/hayward.htm

On your trip, stop in to Red Deer Resort on Lost Land Lake, 121 on the Sawyer County map on Trail 3, and tell Norm and Linda, Mark says hello! They're my neighbors!

We got a good 2"+ two days ago, but they were ice underneath, and without grooming (Which they hadn't done as of last night) they are fair to good with icy corners.

This is just north of Winter.
