Met Up with a Moose in Maine

I met up with this cow on the trail... She took off down the trail as I came around the turn. I ended up following her for just over 2 miles and took pictures as I was riding.

She eventually stopped when other sleds were coming from the other direction. We all stayed our distance as the waiting game continued. She finally stepped off the trail and went down a hill.

What a sight to see in real life.

Great call on keeping the distance and letting the Moose do her thing. She looked young to me.
    Good thinking getting the pics.
    The trails looked good also.

    Wink Universal Hand Signals

Great moose pics! The attached picture illustrates a hand signal used for several years to warn others of such a situation.
