anyone from the Minnesota area? im from apple valley mn just wanted to see if anyone is from minnesota looking to talk to some new people.

I'm from Apple Valley, a few years back. Not to age myself too much, but '84 grad. My kids go to school there yet, and I'm there at my parents in Lakeville a lot actually.

Welcome to the site! I'm from Minnetonka originally, now living in Robbinsdale. I wouldn't say there's a LOT of Minnesotans on here, but there are a few. We'll see ya 'round, I 'm sure!

In my sig. I've got the slightly bigger brother to your sled, the XC700. I bought it used from a guy that snowchecked it. Had a lot of miles, but well taken care of, and tweaked a bit. It's been good to me. Also have the '99 XC500SP for my wife. Still working to get that one dialed in just right for her. Really just needs some clutching and tuning and suspension setup.

Locally, we ride the outer western suburbs, Maple Plain, Delano, Watertown, etc. Her family is mostly out that way, so we'll go on afternoon rides sometimes. Do some riding in north-central MN a bit when I can, too. Longville, Little Falls are places we've been.

yea i go up near crosslake mn i have a condo up there i love my 600 its plenty fast for me its been a great sled my dad owned it first but then he got a new one so he gave me this one and i just love it yea i go up to crosslake allot to ride i know the trails up there and its some good ridding.

Yes, the Crosslake area is nice. That's part of the loop that my friend and I ride out of the place we stay outside of Longville. We usually do a lot of night riding when we're up there, almost never run across other sleds it seems. We run the #93, #113, #119 usually, although we didn't get a chance to ride up there this year. Only rode on property and the lake for some ice fishing this year while we were up there.

yea i only rode once this year up there i love it there we should do a trip next year always looking for people to ride with i have a condo up at daget brook.

Yeah, maybe we can make that work out. There's usually just 2 of us that ride together up there. Would be good to ride with some others, too.

Can't seem to talk my wife into those trips since we stay in an old farmhouse where the plumbing is off over the winter. No condo, by any means, but it's REALLY close to the Anchorage Bar, which is our "home base" when were out there.
