Prestudded tracks vs. after market studs

For those of you who are running the prestudded tracks, how do they perform vs. the traditional studs? I may have to replace my track this year so I'm curious to know if the prestudded ones are worth the money. Is one brand better than the others?

I personally don't have one, but have read good reviews about them. They say that they give noticeable traction gains, but are not as effective as a tradtional stud set-up. I personally buy a used or discounted track and fill it with 192 Woodys and spend about as much as the prestudded tracks cost. My $.02

Yep outcold, your right. I had the iceclaw on my last sled and the iceripper on the new one. It seems to be about 75% of a traditional 96 down the middle. I really like the track. You also have the option to add studs if you want more gription. The biggest advantage is the traction without the weight. Lighter track = less rotating mass and thats a good thing.

Also, try Kenssports.com. Best prices and sellection.
