I am going to have to find some way to make it up north just to ride that thing. I dont care if your working sleeping or having "relations" with some chick. I am steeling that assult for a spin or 3 arround the block. If i had the money I would have that one sitting in the back of my truck right now.

Scott are you sure you still remember how to ride? LOL Sure would be good to see you up here this year. We found tons of new riding up north since the last time we rode together. I may even let you take it around the block 4 times... Get your tail up here this year and it's a guarantee... Can you believe it I am back on a Polaris again!

Anyone got some more pics? Let's see em...

Ah yes! Two inches of snow and the thumb got a bit Twitchy. Let's just say that motor wise the Crossfire was not even in the same league. The first small bump and a blip of the throttle took me straight to the rear bumper!!! I guess I will have to learn a bit of throttle control this year. Cant wait till opener in the Yooper!

    Riding Already!?

You gotta love riding whent the lugs on your track measure more than the snow on the ground!

    shakedown run.

I am definately ready for a shakedown run. I was tempted this past weekend while up there but thought the new X2's with fresh carbides didnt need to see any asphalt, gravel or rocks quite yet.

I have made some changes to the sled. Added a boss seat, ole's 3.5" risers, side panel vents and hood vent screens , 2 wheel kit, scratchers, slp can, X2 skis, CPC adjustible primary weights, and the all important hot dogger. I hope trail cooling will be sufficent so I do not have to switch out the rear heat exchanger for a crossfire cooler. I may extend the snow flap to help with the trail cooling and snow spray for whoever is riding behind me!.

These next few weeks will surely seem slow while waiting for the first ride. Hopefully the snow cooperates for the weekend of December 6th in the UP.

It sounds like that polaris 800 motor is a ripper! I am excited to see it in action. That thing looks like one solid chassis, and I am sure you will test its strength on a regular basis.

    Think snow!

Yep the trigger is getting pretty light. Sounds like you got the M set up nice. All the simple add ons that help keep what you got consistant. Probably the best way to do your first mods! You gotta get those Mondays off so we can do a few rips this year!

I hope the chassis is as solid as it looks. Kind of wierd going from last year where I didn't much care if I smucked up the Crossfire to feeling a bit conservative before the riding even starts... I needs to get it's first scratches or cracked plastic out of the way.

Got bored and decided to make a rear rack for a pair of 1 gallon gas cans and also leave enough room for a tail bag! Not quite done yet but should work well.
