Well, we went from snow to the lake on Sunday. Team Summit wrapped up filming for Elevation 4 with a sweet 3-sled run across Bass Lake. Billygoat, Lefty and Hatcher tore it up as a crowd of 30 or so cheered them on.

We lost one of the sleds on the way back (Lefty) and attempted a Snowhawk lake crossing that ended poorly for Pancho.

Time to start editing!

Nice job. I can see the remake now.

Chet: What do you see out there Roman?

Roman: I tell you what I see when I look out there. I see the undeveloped resources of Minnesota, Northern Wisconsin, and Michigan. I see a syndicated development consortium exploiting over a billion and a half dollars in forest products. I see a paper mill and if the strategic metals are there, a mining operation. A greenbelt between the condos on the lake and a waste management facility focusing on the newest rage in toxic waste, medical refuse. Infected bandages, body parts, IV tubing, contaminated glassware, entrails, syringes, fluids, blood, low grade radioactive waste all safely contained sunken in the lake and sealed for centuries, (insert new lines) as long as those three slednecks don't sink their turboed, nos-inhailing snow-machines to the bottom of this gold mine that lies in front of us. Now I ask you what do you see?

Great way to end the season indeed. Congrats.

I'm glad that I could bring some laughs to ya man. It's a long road amigo, but I'm starting to find the humor in things again, if even for a moment or two.

Hey, I gotta get the Sea Doo, I mean Ski Doo for that one, you guys smoked me out.

Thanks Howler.

I measured the distance on a map program, we went 3,829 Feet, I would call that 3/4 of a mile, that's a mile and a half on the water there and back!!!

No doubt Jlowe. Anytime you see open water steaming in during a Wisconsin winter, you KNOW it's not gothermal, lol. Flip flops and swim trunks beat freezing you berries to the gas tank on a water-ross anyday of the year. :D

its not that bad... pluss you can go right to the bar after you sink the sled. they serve a great bowl of chicken soup. and you can buy dry socks for 5 bucks. Unless you know the owners realy well. then they let ya use the drier. :D pluss its only a couple feet deep.

some poor souls that needed the new socks. lol
most had to redeem themselves after drying out the sleds and socks.
