Snowmobile Grass Drags and Power Sports Swap Meet
Illinois' largest snowmobile event

The Prairie Riders Snowmobile Club will hold the 16th Annual Grass Drags and Power Sports Swap Meet on Sunday October 4, 2009.
Our Snowmobile Grass Drags will take place on a track featuring 1100 feet of shutdown for improved safety. We run 4 lanes at 500 feet. Once again this year as in the past we run for trophies only to keep our entry fees low and allow participation for everyone. A very diverse group of racers compete with us each year, from the first time racer to veteran semi and pro racers. This is the place to come to try grass dragging for the 1st time or the 100th time. We expect 125-175 racers with registration from 8-10 am. Racing starts at 11 am. We run 20 classes including a Mini class that is free and everyone wins a trophy. Race classes are listed on the Registration Sheet available for download below.

Our swap meet continues to grow dramatically each year. Last year saw 200 swappers, 20 retail vendors, and 2500-3000 spectators and shoppers. While still primarily a snowmobile event we continue to see more Power Sports included every year. ATV’s, Motorcycles, Boats, lots of miscellaneous items. Check out the low swap site price and come out for a great day. Retail vendors who wish to set up on Saturday must call ahead to make arrangements.

$5 Admission to the Swap Meet and Spectator area. (under 12 Free)
$10 Swap Site Fee for any size private party.
$25 Swap Site Fee for Retail Vendors (new or used items)
$10 Pit entrance fee ($5 with general admission and must be 16 per our insurer)
$15 Race Entrance Fee per Class. (must be 16 years old per our insurer) 16 & 17 year olds limited to 500 stock and lower, parents must sign wavier.
