Date of Report: 03/11/2015
Trail Conditions: Not Rideable
Snow Cover: 1
Area Report: Hi all,
Well, mother nature has shown us once again who is in control. Due to the warm temperatures our trails have deteriorated rapidly. The trails in Vilas and Oneida Counties remain open but are in VERY POOR condition at best. The Cross Country Cruisers recommend that you check the Cruisers Facebook page regarding trail conditions as this could very well be the end of this season.
With that being said, we want to thank everyone who rode our trail system and supported our businesses.
Remember that the new WI Trail Pass goes into effect July 2015. If you do not belong to a club and are thinking of joining one, please consider joining The Cross Country Cruisers. We are dedicated to giving our best from the start to the finish of every season!!

The Magic of Winter – Sled the Vast, White Northland
Thanks to the hard work of our many snowmobile clubs and volunteers, an extensive network of professionally groomed trails – more than 1600 miles – are maintained. A magnificent natural environment with 1300 glacial lakes and 233,000 acres of public forest lands provide a perfect setting for snowmobilers in the Minocqua – Arbor Vitae – Woodruff Area. Take off in any direction to sled on the spacious and well marked routes throughout the forests. The locale features a number of trail side pit stops – step inside, enjoy the atmosphere, but please be responsible. Don’t drink and drive !
Detailed Snowmobile maps are available at the Minocqua Chamber or contact them for postage fees and envelope sizes and they will be happy to mail you maps when we receive your S.A.S.E envelope.
