"Bad Experience at Fisherman's Resort"

Had a bad experience at the Fisherman's Resort on Lake Gogebic. Got some extremely bloody southern fried chicken (5 orders). Looked like the cook had a nosebleed on my plate. Ended up paying full price for it. Cook came out and told us "It's no big deal, it happens". I happen to like my chicken fully cooked. Conversation degraded and ended up getting kicked out (we were already putting our coats on to leave anyway, which made me laugh). Guy was a real jerk about it. Take this for what it is. I've eaten breakfast there before and it was fine. Not going back though.
Scott

Nothing like fresh served Salmanilla. Sounds like a nasty meal for sure.

Chicken Tartare is all the rage up north second only to Pork... Honestly though mistakes happen especially in the food prep biz its best to limit them for a obvious business aspect of things... So sending a under cooked meal or items back is no big thing when done tactfully... Most places will gladly fix or replace the meal... Heck I've even done it a few times myself at home without incedent...

You know I have had some bad experiences with ordering food while snowmobiling also. It's not that the place is bad maybe just my timing. So this is my tip: always keep it simple. Stick to beef it's hard for a cook to under cook beef, if anything they will over cook it. Basicly plan on eating Chile or burgers when you go riding unless you are gonna bring your own food. Better safe than spending your whole trip in the bathroom or in a hospital.

Stick to beef! that is all we buy. i would of been very mad if that happened

Respect your snowmobile; respect your environment; and you will earn the respect of everyone.

I'll not mention the name of the bar as it has new owners but, we'd ordered 2 burgers, basket of fries and, a pitcher of beer.
All done but a few fries. One of the fries had a finger nail stuck to it. The cook was missing one of her press on nails.
We ended up paying full price.
We let other bars in the area no about it.
As mentioned above, it's under new ownership.
