SnowTracks.com - Trail Reports & Conditions

Reported by:   Kat @ Dear Lodge
Date of Report:   February 3, 2010
Trail Conditions:   Very Good
Snow Cover:   12 inches

Area Report:   We got about two inches of snow yesterday
Trail Boss Pete stated at our Board Meeting on Monday that the trails are all very flat and frozen solid with enough fluff to keep them fun
The weather report says a chance of snow tomorrow and Friday with ideal temperatures for it to happen.
Watch the camera and find out.
I'll let you know if any comes.
Dance as hard as you can and maybe it'll happen!

If your up here and get a chance, please stop by The Heart of the North in downtown Loontown and meet the new owners, Greg and Jenny.
They are really nice, down to earth people who should do well.

Here's some General notes of importance-
We are having issues with sleds getting off the trail on Trail 10 just west of Hwy 51 in the Industrial Park.
This is private land and there's reasons why it has signs that say STAY ON TRAIL.
We have a not so happy property owner right now.
Iron County has opened 175,000 acres of County land for off trail riding.
Email me with your mailing address and I'll send you a map for this, but if your trail riding please stay on the trail.

Trail 10 between the Flowage and Mercer has some logging going on for a short distance, use extreme caution as they are scraping it down to dirt.

Our best local news forecast is at www.wjfw.com in Rhinelander.

For my live video webcam go to-
http://www.flambeaulodging.com/webcam.htm
You can see snow flakes in the daylight and if there is a moving glow around the light at night it's snowing.
It is located out the window next to the side door of the bar.
We're having a ton of fun with every body calling their friends and families to show themselves on the camera. Feel free to park your sled in front of it and join in.

THINK WHITE!!!
